Thank you to everyone who bought in a gold coin donation for our Christmas casual day last week. With the money raised we bought some lego for the Kmart Wishing Tree.

Year 6 Graduation

I had a fantastic day and evening on Monday, celebrating our 2025 graduating class. A day filled with mini-golf, ten pin bowling, and icecream (and a questionable Indian Christmas Songs playlist in Mrs Steele's car as played by the boys). We finished the day joining the parents for dinner at The Central in Hamilton.

These kids will be missed at our school. They have been a great group from Foundation through to Year 6. We wish them all the best for their futures.

Return to school dates for 2026

Staff will return to school on Tuesday 27th January.

Students F-6 will begin on Wednesday 28th.

Foundation students will start their first day of school on Wednesday 28th January. They will then have every Wednesday in February as rest days (4th, 11th, 18th, 25th).

Thank you

We would like to thank each and every one of you who has assisted the school this year with jobs in school and around the grounds.  We sincerely appreciate all of your support. It is great to see that we have so many parents who are willing to give up their time to help out.  We would also like to thank Paul Coates for always being there when we need any electrical work done.  We greatly appreciate your ongoing support of our school.

Best Wishes

I will finish by wishing all in our Cavendish PS Community all the best for Christmas and the New Year. Stay safe and enjoy this precious time with family.

I look forward to leading us into 2026.

All the best,

Kate Steele
