Executive Principal

Welcome to 2026
It is with great excitement that I introduce myself as the new Executive Principal of Palm Beach Currumbin State High School. I am delighted to be re-joining the PBC community, a school that holds a special place for me professionally and personally.
Most recently, I served as Principal of Benowa State High School. Prior to this, I was proud to be part of the Palm Beach Currumbin community as Principal of the Junior School. From PBC, I accepted the opportunity to lead the Junior School at Marsden State High School, Australia’s largest high school. These leadership experiences have reinforced my strong belief in the importance of continuity, high expectations, and genuine partnerships between schools, students and families.
As we begin the school year, I am very much looking forward to working closely with our students, staff, parents and wider community to build on the many strengths of PBC. Together, we will continue to support every student to learn, grow and achieve their best in a safe, inclusive and aspirational environment.
I would also like to take this opportunity to remind families about student road safety, particularly in relation to e-bikes. We want all of our students to travel to and from school safely. Before purchasing an e-bike for your child, please ensure you consult the relevant guidelines to confirm that the bike is compliant and appropriate for children under the ages of 16.
All PBC students who ride e-bikes to school will be required to undertake a bike and road safety training course, with further information to be emailed home later this week.
I wish all students and families the very best for a positive and successful year ahead, and I look forward to getting to know you as we embark on this journey together.
