Student Reflections- Year 3/4 CAMP DISCOVERY
This week, Grades 3 and 4 had an absolute blast at Camp Discovery! We tried four main activities—hut building, low ropes, the 80-meter flying fox, and my personal favorite, the giant swing, where everyone pulls you up before you pull the rope to drop and soar across! We even got to celebrate Giorgio’s birthday, eat great food, enjoy plenty of free time, and watch a movie together. Some parts like hut building and running the flying fox were challenging, but it was so much fun that my only suggestion for improvement is to make camp 2 or 3 days long next time so we can do 6 to 10 activities instead of just four!

This week, on the 6th and the 7th of October, the 3s and 4s went on a camp to Mt Evelyn Discovery Camp and had the best time ever. Personally, my favourite activity was the Giant Swing because it was really fun; it felt a little scary at the start but was still amazing.
A challenge for me was jumping off the tree on the flying fox, but as it turns out, it was really fun. All the cabins were different sizes, but my cabin had 5 bunk beds. Everybody in my cabin didn't really sleep much.
