This workshop is for any parent interested in volunteering with the school.

Community Worship Night is coming up again!
Tuesday, 8 September, 7:00pm - 8:30pm is our next Community Worship Night, and we are so excited to come together and sing songs of praise to our Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace.
Led by our students, this night has been such a blessing to our community in the past. Join us for an evening of exhilarating joy and heartfelt worship as we lift up the one and only LORD our God.

R U OK Day
On Thursday 10 September, we will celebrate National R U OK? Day, Australia's annual day of action that encourages meaningful conversations to support mental wellbeing. It reminds us to check in with friends, family, colleagues, and classmates who may be struggling.
To show our support, we invite all staff and students, including Plenty Kids groups, to wear a yellow accessory. This is not a free dress day, but wearing yellow will create a visible reminder of care and community across our school.
There will be a range of student-led activities throughout the day. Primary students will participate in age-appropriate classroom activities, while secondary students can enjoy live music and lunchtime activities in the Amphitheatre.
At PVCC, we encourage making "Are you OK?" part of everyday conversation. A simple check-in can make a meaningful difference to someone who may be struggling. You don't need to be an expert to support someone; taking the time to listen can be incredibly powerful.

Celebrating Our Dads
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our Father's Day Stall this year. It was fantastic to see the excitement on students' faces as they selected special gifts for their Dad’s and Grandfathers.
We are so grateful for our dedicated parent volunteers who generously gave their time to set up, assist students, and ensure the stall ran smoothly. Your support helped create a positive and memorable experience for our school community.
Father's Day provides a special opportunity to recognise and celebrate the dads, grandfathers, carers, and other father figures who make a meaningful difference in the lives of our children. We acknowledge the love, guidance, support, and faith they bring to their families and our school community.
We hope all the fathers and father figures in our community enjoy a relaxing and well-deserved Father's Day this Sunday, surrounded by those who love and appreciate them.

A Cross Country Carnival with Heart
What a fun day we had at our Secondary Cross Country Carnival! The day was brought to life with vibrant pops of pink, thanks to the inspiration and encouragement of our Secondary Senate.
Driven by a heart for community and a desire to make a difference, the Senate set out to raise funds for Breast Cancer Research. As they brainstormed ways to support this worthy cause, the idea soon grew into something bigger: transforming our annual Cross Country Carnival into a fun run event with a purpose.
The result was a fantastic day that combined cross country racing and fundraising. Students embraced the pink theme, creating a colourful and encouraging atmosphere throughout the event. It was wonderful to see our school community come together, not only to participate in the races but also to support a cause that impacts so many families.
We are incredibly grateful to the PE Department for their hard work and dedication in organising such a successful carnival. Their efforts ensured the day ran smoothly and provided students with an enjoyable and memorable experience. We would also like to acknowledge the Secondary Senate, whose vision, enthusiasm, and compassion brought an extra layer of meaning and joy to the event.
To top it all off, we were blessed with beautiful sunshine and ideal conditions, making this year's Cross Country Carnival one of the best in recent memory. It was a wonderful reminder of what can be achieved when a community comes together with both purpose and heart.
Well done to everyone who participated, volunteered, and contributed to making the day such a success!
