Kryal Castle

Our students stepped back in time during their excursion to Kryal Castle on 16th September.

Throughout the day, students explored life in medieval times, learning about traditional medicines and leatherworking, taking part in a medieval dance workshop, testing their skills in archery and discovering the weapons and armour used by knights and soldiers.

The day wrapped up with an exciting Battle of Hastings experience, bringing the famous 1066 conflict to life.

A fantastic hands-on experience that brought classroom history to life and gave students a glimpse into the sights, skills and traditions of the medieval world.
