A huge congratulations to Thomas S who was one of only five secondary students across the Southeast to be nominated for a Secondary School Student of the Year award at last night’s Chisholm Education Awards. Tom has the goal of becoming an architect, and he was so keen to begin a career in something creative and hands-on, that he enrolled in a Cert II as a part of his senior school pathway at Mordialloc College. 

At the awards, Tom was praised for his respectful, reliable approach, his support of peers, and his proactive attitude. Alongside this success, Tom also volunteers in the community and is a committed Mordialloc College student. On the night, there was some strong competition and whilst Tom did not win that award, it was amazing to join him and his family to see him get the recognition he deserves for his commitment to his future. Well done, Tom!!!
