Kingston Arts Photography Competition

OptiKA is a photography award inviting creatives of all ages and skill levels to interpret a theme and submit a photograph. A generous prize pool of $9,000 will be awarded to finalists.

The 2024 theme is "Inspiration: What ignites your passion?" Show us what drives your creativity and imagination.

Entry is free and open to all Victorians.

Selected artworks will be showcased at the Kingston Arts Centre for the OptiKA 2024 exhibition, where they will be evaluated by both industry experts and the public.

Now in its 15th year, OptiKA is an award presented by Kingston Arts that is dedicated to championing expression through photography.
