Huge Congratulations to Ellesse Peltonen!
We are so proud to celebrate Ellesse’s incredible achievements! She has been named on the Distinguished Achiever List for Electrotechnology and ranked 4th in the entire state for this course!
Not only did Ellesse excel academically, but she also completed her Certificate II in Electrotechnology as part of her HSC studies. This is a remarkable accomplishment that reflects her dedication, skill, and determination.
As part of her HSC pattern of study, Ellesse chose to undertake a TVET (TAFE-delivered Vocational Education and Training) course, which allowed her to gain hands-on skills and nationally recognised qualifications while still in school. For Electrotechnology, Ellesse travelled to Tamworth every week to attend TAFE classes, an extraordinary commitment that speaks volumes about her hard work and passion for learning.
We’re excited to share that Ellesse’s efforts have paid off! She has secured a job with Essential Energy in 2025, setting her up for a bright future in the electrotechnology industry.
Ellesse, your perseverance, ambition, and achievements are an inspiration to us all. Congratulations on this well-deserved success!
We are so proud of our Year 12 students who have successfully completed their School-Based Traineeships and Apprenticeships (SBATs)! This is a fantastic achievement that showcases your hard work, dedication, and commitment to balancing school and on-the-job learning.
An SBAT allows students to combine school studies with paid work and training, giving them valuable industry experience, nationally recognised qualifications, and a head start in their chosen careers.
A huge thank you to all the employers and mentors who have supported and guided our young people on this journey. Your encouragement and willingness to invest in the next generation are truly appreciated.
To all our wonderful students, well done on taking this important step toward your future success. You’ve made ASC proud!
