Term 3 - Sport Dates

Armidale Catholic Schools Sports Gala Day  for years 3-6 students. 

Soccer  - Tamworth  Tuesday 23rd September 2025 

Permissions are due on Compass on by the 12th of September. 

 Soccer Venue: Gipp St playing fields, Tamworth                  

Costs: All individuals must pay a $10 ACS levy to play. All students will travel by bus which will leave St Joey's at 8am sharp and return in time for usual afternoon travel arrangements.  Parents will pay a $10 fee towards the cost of the bus and St Joseph's will cover the outstanding balance.                           

Catering at the venue: Canteen facilities will be available but we encourage students to bring their own food for the day.

Equipment & Uniform: Students are to wear their full school sports uniform with soccer boots or joggers. Students are advised to bring sunscreen and a hat to wear at the trials. Please remember to bring adequate water for the day. St Joey's will provide playing jerseys. Soccer players must have shin guards. The school can provide these if you do not have them.

Where possible, the trials will proceed as planned. If they are washed out due to inclement weather, the change will be posted on the ACS Primary Sport Facebook page.

First Aid: A trained medic from Tamworth First Aid will be at the carnival but we ask that all students carry their asthma medications in their school bag. Students will be accompanied by Mrs Bartholomew, Miss Latter, Miss Allan & Mrs Cortis.
