We Have Heroes In Our Midst…

Wedderburn College congratulates William Cunningham, Gabby Huismann, and fellow community members on receiving the Victoria Police Regional Commendation Award. This recognition was presented by Victoria Police Superintendent Brad Dixon for their courageous efforts in assisting with the rescue during the fast-flowing and rising waters of Nardoo Creek in the significant flood event on 3 January 2024.

The citation acknowledges their assistance in the rescue of a male stranded in fast flowing and rising flood waters of the Nardoo Creek during a significant flood event. Their courage, critical thinking, and coordinated effort ensured the safe rescue and preservation of life.

Last Day Term 3 19 September – Footy Colours Day

A reminder to our community that next Friday is a 2.30pm finish, and remember to wear your favourite footy team colours. Looking forward to seeing Angus Kerr wear his West Coast Eagles jumper.  He has stayed strong to the eagles through hard times and is the only student in the school to barrack for the eagles.  Go Angus!!

Uniform – Term 4 Hats

A reminder to all our students that hats are required to be worn in Term 4 during break times.  They must have a school logo and be either broad brim or bucket.
