YEAR 11-12 SCHOOLNEWS

Year 11 - 12 News

Another big week in the senior school, with lots happening across our classrooms and the school.

Thank you to all the Year 12s who supported the swimming carnival. They added house spirit, competition and supported staff in the running of the day. Lots of fun was had in the novelty events and we have some outstanding swimmers within our year level. We have some work to do on our butterfly. 50m of butterfly was a hard watch.

All Year 12s headed to camp in Ballarat at Federation University on Wednesday to get a taste of university life and participate in some tertiary readiness, study sessions and job readiness workshops. Thank you to all the staff leading this event, and I'm sure the year 12s will have a fantastic couple of nights away.

VCE School Assessed Coursework tasks have started across subjects. Students are busy with the first sets of assessments across their units.

Vocational Major Excursions- to support their coursework our VM students have been out and about, at the Geelong Tech school. The engaging excursions have supported their learning tasks back at school.

Thank you with your support with communicating absences. We want our Senior Students to achieve the best outcomes in their learning and to do that, we want them in the classroom each school day. Please continue to let us know about any illnesses or required absences so we can support students with their learning during that time.
