Celebrating SSO Week 2026 at Woodville Gardens School

As we celebrate SSO Week 2026, I want to sincerely recognise our School Services Officers for the extraordinary work they do every day. Our school is a vibrant and complex place, and the demands are high—but our SSOs consistently manage immense complexity with skill, professionalism, and remarkable dedication.

They work seamlessly across every aspect of our school, adapting to challenges, supporting our staff, students, and families, and ensuring our school environment runs smoothly. Their willingness to approach every situation with unconditional positive regard, respect, kindness, and care truly reflects what makes Woodville Gardens School special.

The contributions of our SSOs—whether in the classroom or behind the scenes—are essential to our success and to the wellbeing and learning of our students. The positive impact they have resonates throughout our entire school community.

Thank you for your invaluable work and for truly embodying our school values. We are incredibly fortunate to have you as part of our team.

I encourage all families to join us in expressing gratitude—if an SSO has made a difference for your child, please reach out and share your appreciation. Your kind words mean a great deal.

2026 Parent survey – Have your say

The annual Parent Survey is now underway and will close at midnight on Sunday 6 September.

The survey provides parents and carers with an opportunity to share their views and help improve education at our school. It focuses on:

  • What we’re doing well
  • Where we can improve
  • What is important to you as a parent or carer

Your responses are confidential. Neither you nor your child can be identified, and only collated feedback is provided to our school.

You should have already received a link to the survey via email or SMS. Reminder messages are also being sent unless you have already completed the survey or chosen to unsubscribe.

We strongly encourage you to take a few minutes to complete the survey. Your feedback is valuable and helps guide our school improvement efforts.

If you cannot locate your original survey link, please use the link below:
