International Student Program Update

ISP Agent Visiting Event

On Friday, 21 August, we were delighted to welcome three accredited education agents to our ISP Agent Meeting: representatives from Aide, Auswin and Smart Choice Education. We sincerely thanked our agents for their continued support over the years in referring international students to our College and look forward to working closely with them in the future. During the meeting, we discussed the future international student market and shared our strong intention to resume our on-site Intensive Language Centre (ILC). We were also pleased to invite some of our current international students, Ivy, Dily and Alber, to share their study experiences at Mordialloc College. Their feedback was very positive, and we are extremely proud to see how well they have settled into and grown within our Mordi community. The meeting concluded with a simple and fresh brunch kindly prepared by our college canteen. It was a valuable opportunity to strengthen our partnerships and share our vision for the future of our International Student Program.

Feedback from short-term study students

Last Friday was the last school attendance day for our Short-term Study students: Willa , Camille and John . We are very pleased that they all had a great experience.  Here is some feedback we would like to share with you all :

Y7 John: I spent six weeks at Mordialloc college here. Now I'm leaving. I love this school's lunch and students. Sometimes I really want to move here.

Y7 Camelle: The courses here are very rich. My classmates and teachers are also really friendly. Besides, PE classes are great fun. They include more ball games than PE classes back home, such as volleyball and table‑tennis, so we can try different sports. Studying here is relatively relaxed, and there are plenty of activities too.

Y 7 Willa: Mordialloc has offered many varieties of subjects; the study pressure is not very heavy.  I have made many wonderful friends here.

Y7 Max : I really enjoyed the short-term study at Mordialloc College. The teachers and classmates here are very friendly and nice. It is very different from schools in China.  We had some different classes that help us explore our hobbies. In English class, we read a great book called A Monster Calls. Maths was easy to me. We also had French class, but it was hard. We got plenty of break time here. My classmates were very kind. When there was a word, I did not understand, they would explain it to me patiently. I hope I can come back to continue my study here in the near future.
