Celebrating Creativity: VCE Art Show and Burgfest
On October 16th and 17th, our school showcased the incredible talents of our VCE students through two remarkable events: the Media film screening of "Burgfest" and the VCE Art Show. Both events not only highlighted student creativity but also fostered a sense of community and appreciation for the arts.
Media Film Screening: "Burgfest"
The excitement kicked off on October 16th at the Palace Cinemas in Pentridge, where students, families, and friends gathered for the screening of "Burgfest." This year’s films demonstrated the outstanding skills and unique storytelling perspectives of our media students.

VCE Art Show
Following the film screening, the VCE Art Show on October 17th provided a platform for our Visual Communication Design and Art Making and Exhibiting students to display their stunning works. The diverse range of pieces on display highlighted the creativity and technical skills our students have developed throughout their studies.

A heartfelt congratulations to our Visual Arts prize winners! Your creativity and passion for art shine brightly in your work. Thank you to VCE AM and E teacher Belinda Pringle and VCD teacher Sandra Middleton for their dedicated support of our year 12 Visual Art students as well as Zoe Keystone and Skye Dupuche for assisting with the installation of their work.
Community Engagement
Both events attracted a wonderful turnout, showcasing the strong support our school community has for the arts. Parents, students, and staff came together to celebrate the achievements of our talented VCE students, fostering a spirit of encouragement and enthusiasm for creativity.
As we reflect on these outstanding displays of student talent, we look forward to more opportunities for our students to share their creativity with the community. Thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and attended - your presence made these events truly special!

We warmly congratulate our VCE AM and E students on their achievements.
We are thrilled to announce an exciting achievement by one of our talented VCE Visual Communication Design students, Rune B. Rune’s impressive folio project, which involved redesigning the brand for the Australian Linguistic Society (ALS), has been officially selected and adopted as the branding for their upcoming conference. Rune’s project showcased not only creativity and innovation but also a deep understanding of the ALS’s mission and values.
Congratulations to Rune! This accomplishment serves as an inspiration to all students in our VCE VCD program, proving that passion and hard work can lead to extraordinary opportunities.
We look forward to following Rune’s journey as a designer and celebrating more successes from our talented students in the future.
