Principal's News

We acknowledge the Taungurung people, the traditional custodians of this land and we pay our respect to their elders past, present and emerging.

Dear Families,

Dear God,

As we journey through this holy season of Lent, help us to grow closer to you each day. Teach us to be kind, generous, and forgiving, just as Jesus showed us. May our prayers, our small sacrifices, and the good choices we make help bring love and hope to others.

Bless our school community and guide us to follow Jesus with joyful hearts.

Amen.

We keep Sam and his family in our thoughts and prayers as they mourn the loss of his beautiful mum, Anne. Anne passed away peacefully on Monday 16th March, surrounded by the love of her three children, Sam, Tom and Sarah.

During this very difficult time, we extend our deepest sympathy and support to Sam and his family. As a school community, we hold them close in our hearts and hope they find comfort in the love of family, friends and the many cherished memories they shared with Anne.

We also keep Linc and Ali in our thoughts as they prepare to celebrate their wedding this Friday. It will be a wonderful celebration marking the beginning of a new chapter in their lives together. We hope their special day is filled with joy, love and happiness, and that it is a memorable time shared with friends and family who gather to celebrate this exciting occasion with them.

Fr Tony has retired as Parish Priest of Euroa, effective from Friday the 20th March. Fr Joe Taylor will be celebrating our Easter Masses with us. Fr Vijay Bandanadam  has agreed to become Administrator of Euroa parish while remaining Parish Priest of Benalla. Fr DJ Suguitan will become Assistant Priest in the Euroa and Benalla Parishes, with residence at the Euroa Presbytery. We are excited to welcome Fr DJ to our parish and school community. Once he has settled in life in Euroa we will resume our weekly class Masses.

Harmony Day

We will celebrate Harmony Day this Friday the 20th March. Harmony Day is a special time for our school community to celebrate the many cultures, backgrounds, and stories that make us who we are. At our Catholic school, we are reminded that each person is created in God’s image and is a valued and important part of our community. Harmony Day encourages us to show respect, kindness, and understanding towards one another, and to celebrate the diversity that enriches our school. By learning from each other and working together, we continue to build a welcoming community where everyone feels they belong. Everyone is encouraged to wear something small that is orange, such as an orange hair ribbon.
