What is Harmony Week - watch the video to find out more
Harmony Week is a special time across Australia when we celebrate the many cultures, languages, and traditions that make our community unique. At our school, Harmony Week reminds us that Everyone Belongs — no matter where we come from, what language we speak at home, or what traditions we enjoy with our families.
This year, our celebrations will take place on Friday 20 March, as Harmony Day falls on the Saturday. Students will spend time during the day taking part in activities that explore inclusion, kindness, and respect. Classes will enjoy cultural stories, creative projects, and conversations about what it means to make sure everyone feels welcome.
To mark the occasion, students are invited to wear a splash of orange — a ribbon, socks, a shirt, or any small touch. Orange represents meaningful conversations, open‑mindedness, and celebrating our differences.
Harmony Week is also a wonderful opportunity for families to share their own cultural backgrounds. Whether it’s a favourite recipe, a traditional outfit, a song, or a story, these contributions help our students understand the richness of our school community.
Together, we’re building a school where every child feels safe, valued, and proud of who they are.

Below is a list of stories that follow the theme of Harmony Week - Everyone Belongs.
