Dear Students, Parents and Guardians,

As we come to the end of Term 1, I would like to thank all students, staff and families for a fantastic term at Red Cliffs Secondary College.

Last week, we held our Term 1 Parent-Teacher Interviews with an adjusted school day, allowing flexibility for parents to come in and meet with our teaching staff.  It was great to see many families take up the opportunity to speak with staff about their children’s academic progress.

This week, we saw our Morrisby profiling process take place for all Year 9 students. This is a great opportunity for students to start thinking about their interests and potential career pathways.  Morrisby interviews will take place next term, where students can gain a better understanding of different career options, including further study at university, TAFE, or trade pathways.

NAPLAN has now concluded for 2026.  I would like to thank all our Year 7 and 9 students who participated in this national testing program. This provides the school with valuable data to highlight areas for improvement and growth across the school.

Today, we held our House Cross Country event. In perfect conditions, it was great to see so many students participating and representing their houses. This leads into our Colour Run Walkathon for the whole school community to enjoy.  Once again, what a fantastic way to finish the term!  We saw money raised through activities such as staff having their hair cut or shaved, as well as teachers being slimed. The Colour Run was a highlight, with many students enjoying walking laps of the oval.

What a great way to finish off the term!

I would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Easter as we head into the holiday break. I hope everyone enjoys spending time with friends and family. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday 20th April.
