TeamKids OSHC Program Update – Term 2, 2026

Our focus continues to be on delivering engaging and inclusive experiences that supports wellbeing, creativity, physical activity and connection to community values. One of the main strengths of our current program is the variety of student-led and educator-facilitated Clubs that are tailored to meet diverse interests and promote skill development.

This term, the following clubs have received votes:

  • Art Zone Club: This club provides TK children with opportunities to explore a variety of artistic mediums, including drawing, painting, collage, and craft-based projects. The emphasis is on creativity and self-expression.
  • Running Club (led by Sidney and Jacob): The Running Club encourages physical activity, endurance, and teamwork. Students participate in structured running activities that promote goal setting, resilience, and positive attitudes toward health and fitness.
  • Musical Theatre Club: To support students in developing performance skills through singing, acting, and movement. It fosters confidence, collaboration, and creative expression.

Term 2 Skip Challenge Initiative

During Term 2, TeamKids has implemented a weekly “Skip Challenge” aimed at promoting engagement, teamwork, and goal-oriented participation. Each week, the kids are given specific challenges to complete, which may include physical tasks, cooperative games, creative problem-solving tasks, and wellbeing-focused goals. Student performance and participation contribute to the awarding of stars, which are accumulated weekly.

Upcoming TeamKids Events:

  • World Bee Day (20th May)
  • National Sorry Day (25th May)
  • Reconciliation Week (27th May)
  • Global Parents Day (1st June)
  • World Oceans Day (8th June)
  • Winter Wonderland Party (Last week of Term- TBC)

We appreciate the School Community for its ongoing support and are excited to enhance our program even more as the year progresses.
