Little Hearts Playgroup

Our Little Hearts Playgroup will commence for 2026 very soon. It will be wonderful to welcome all families with babies, toddlers and pre- schoolers back to Sacred Heart this year. The transition many of our preps have had this year was very smooth as the students had been coming to playgroup all of last year, they were familiar with our environment and playground so they eased in so easily and it is a great opportunity to develop  relationships with families early on. 

For those who are not familiar with playgroup it is held in our Mackillop Hall at 10am on a Friday once  a month. We enjoy hands on activities such as blocks, playing shops, drawing etc. Parents and caregivers can relax and have a cuppa while they meet other parents and make new connections.  Then we enjoy singing, percussion instruments and story-time.  If the weather is fine we can play in our playground before the rest of the school comes out for lunch at 11am.
