Student Medication

If a student requires medication, Gisborne Secondary College encourages parents to arrange for the medication to be taken outside of school hours. However, we understand that students may need to take medication at school or school activities. To support students to do so safely, we follow the procedures set out in the Administration of Medication policy. 

The Department of Education has recently updated the Medication Authority Form.  Could all families requiring students to take medication at school please complete the below attached form and return it to our First Aid Officer as a matter of priority.
