Before and After School Supervision 

Student safety at Oatlands Primary School is our highest priority and the safe and appropriate supervision of students is an important element of our duty of care to students. Part of this duty is ensuring parents and students are aware of our student supervision arrangements before and after school. 

Before school: School grounds are supervised before school from 8:45am – 9:00am. In addition to this The Pirate Ship playground zone at the front of the school is supervised before school from 8:30am – 8:45am to support families in need of additional supervision time and to assist with traffic congestion during the school drop off period.

After school: School grounds are supervised after school from 3:30pm – 3:45pm. In addition to this The Pirate Ship playground zone at the front of the school is supervised after school from 3:45pm – 4:00pm to support families in need of additional supervision time and to assist with traffic congestion during the school pick up period.

Students on school grounds outside these times will not be supervised (unless they are attending Team Kids or supervised extracurricular activity). 

Parents/carers are requested to ensure that students do not attend school outside of these supervised times unless they are attending Team Kids, or a pre-arranged supervised activity.

Families are encouraged to contact Team Kids via their website (info@teamkids.com.au) for more information about the before and after school care options available to families outside our school supervision times.

Parent Teacher meetings (Getting to Know Your Child)

Parent Teacher meetings (grade 1 to grade 6) will be conducted on Monday 23rd February and Tuesday 24th February.

To ensure we can conduct meetings with each student’s family, students will be dismissed at 12:50pm on Tuesday 24th February.   Monday 23rd February will be a normal school day with students dismissed as normal - 3:30pm.
