POPS BIG FREEZE for MND
On Monday afternoon, our school community celebrated the POPS Big Freeze for MND, raising an impressive amount. Many students and staff wore Fight MND colours and Big Freeze beanies. The Apostolopulus family generously donated $600, and Mia shared her personal connection to the cause, as her uncle and grandfather were affected by MND. The SRC and Mrs Debono excelled in organising and leading the Big Freeze Challenge.
Congratulations to Miss Plumridge, Mrs Meiszies, and Ms Owen, whose students raised the most money to ice them. The school raise a total of $900, what a great effort and therefore was able to ice the principal! It was a worthwhile event for an important cause.

POPS SPORTS UNIFORM
After careful consideration, we are pleased to announce that the POPS sports uniform will now be available for purchase for students across the entire school. This will ensure all students have the opportunity to benefit from the sports uniform on PE days.
There is currently stock available in children's sizes 4, 6 and 8 for families wishing to purchase the POPS sports top and shorts. These items can be worn on sports days and at school events when advised. From the beginning of next term, all students from Foundation to Year 6 will have the option of wearing the POPS sports uniform on their PE days. For more information about the uniform and the prices for the junior sizes, please contact PSW.

Dont forget that you can buy a the school approved POPS beanie for those colder days!!

SOMERS CAMP
Pettet Foundation Award Recipients
Harry C (2024) and Sienna S (2025), along with their invited friends Will R and Lucy M, attended Somers Camp from June 9–17. They shared highlights including the giant swing, abseiling, rock‑wall climbing, the disco and campfires, as well as the new friendships they’ve formed with students from other local schools. We thank the Pettet Foundation for sponsoring this wonderful leadership opportuni for our award recipients.
STUDENT SAFETY
We’ve received reports of unsafe behaviour at the local shops before school, including students running onto the road and blocking the walkway. Families are reminded to supervise children before school. If supervision isn’t possible, TheirCare is available for before‑school support.
