Parents and Friends

Dear families,
We are halfway through the school year with school holidays upon us!
We wish all families a safe, relaxing and restful holidays a chance to reflect on the year so far and prepare of the second half of the year.
There has been a positive response to the St Brendan’s School Community Recipe Book with great recipes coming through.
Families are invited to share recipes that will be combined into a book. Recipes are to be submitted by 31st July 2026. Please take some time to read through the information below, a copy of the flyer was also sent home with students.
Once the book is finalised it will be professionally printed and available for sale as a fundraiser.

St Brendan’s School Community Recipe Book
We are pleased to invite families in our school community to contribute to the St Brendan’s School Community Recipe Book. We hope this recipe book will showcase our diverse community.
Recipes will be compiled and the book will be professionally printed and available to purchase from late Term 3.

Canteen Friday – Cinnamon Donuts
We hope the children enjoyed donuts at school on Fridays in Weeks 3, 6 and 9 during Term 2. We will keep families updated if donuts will be for sale again in Term 3.

P&F Involvement
Involvement in the P&F and the school community comes in all different forms and doesn't need to be a big time commitment.
Please reach out to the P&F if you may be able to help out during the year. Requests for help are sent out via PAM/Simon and the newsletter.
If you are interested in becoming a Committee Member – please contact us to have a chat. Being a part of the Committee isn’t a large time commitment and there are no set requirements of a member.

If you have a few hours to spare during the year and would like to get involved in the school community please register your interest to be involved as a parent helper through the P&F.

Volunteers must hold a current Working With Children’s Check. WWCC’s are free for volunteers, you can apply through the Working With Children Check Victoria website.
Business interest
Do you own/run a business, or know of a business, that may be interested in being involved in supporting the school community through fundraisers, sponsorship, in-kind support or at events?
