Confirmation Reflection Day began with a beautiful prayer service, where students took time to reflect and wonder about important questions. They then participated in a scavenger hunt, which was both fun and informative, helping them deepen their understanding of the Sacrament of Confirmation. Throughout the day, students enjoyed a range of engaging activities together, strengthening their friendships while preparing for this important step in their Catholic journey.

29th Sunday in Ordinary Time – Matthew 22:15–21
In this Gospel, the Pharisees try to trick Jesus by asking whether it is right to pay taxes to Caesar. Jesus responds wisely, saying, “Give back to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and to God what belongs to God.” Jesus reminds us that while we have responsibilities in our daily lives, God deserves our love, trust and commitment. We are called to put God at the centre of our lives and show our love for Him through our choices, actions and the way we treat others.
Catholics around the world are invited to pray for missionaries and support the Church’s work among communities in need. St Vincent de Paul group puts these values into action by supporting people experiencing hardship and demonstrating compassion, generosity and care for others. Their efforts remind us that we can all share God’s love through acts of kindness and service to our community.
How can we show compassion and share God’s love with those in need in our own community?
