The children thoroughly enjoyed the first aid incursion, engaging enthusiastically in all the activities and demonstrations. They were particularly excited to learn practical skills, such as how to respond in an emergency, and showed great curiosity by asking thoughtful questions. The hands-on experiences helped build their confidence, and it was clear that they found the session both fun and highly informative.

Enjoy some family time over the holidays by......

  • Go on a nature walk or bush adventure: Explore a local park or trail, enjoy fresh air, and unplug from screens.
  • Have an Easter egg hunt with a twist: Add clues, teamwork challenges, or small wellbeing tasks at each stop.
  • Create Easter crafts together: Decorating eggs or making cards encourages creativity and relaxation.
  • Cook or bake as a family: Try making hot cross buns or a favourite meal—great for bonding and life skills.
  • Start a gratitude jar: Each family member writes things they’re thankful for and shares them at the end of the holidays.
  • Plan a picnic day: Head to a local park or beach and enjoy simple food and quality time outdoors.
  • Have a family movie night: Let everyone pick a favourite film and create a cosy, screen-free connection time.
  • Try a new physical activity: Bike riding, backyard games, or even a mini sports day keeps everyone active and energised.
  • Do a random act of kindness: Bake for neighbours, donate toys, or write kind notes—great for emotional wellbeing.
  • Unplug for a day: Have a “no screens” day and focus on conversation, games, and being present together.
