Hi all

It’s been a big term of healthy physical education and sports culminating in the Junior Sports Day on Wednesday.  Our Year 6 Spirit Leaders and our teachers ran 12 stations scattered across the oval - including chasey games, sprints, relays, fill the bucket, and rob the nest.  It was a very warm day, and I’m sure all of our preps, Year 1s, and Year 2s slept well that night.  Thank you to all of the parents who came down and cheered the kids along.

We have several important sports events in Term 2, starting in the first week.  The key dates are listed below.  On Wednesday, 22nd April, all of our Year 3s to 6s will be participating in the St Louis Athletics Day at Dolamore Reserve.  Parents are most welcome to come down and support the students.  

We will have the assistance of the Mentone Girls Secondary College P.E. students.  As part of their course, they assist schools in running events such as this.  We look forward to their participation.  

Thank you to the many parents who have offered to assist on the day.  We still require help to set up the track from 8.00 am, but we no longer require assistance for the running of the events.  I will be in touch with those who have offered to help set up once we are back at school.
