What a great way to start Harmony Week at GSSC! 🌏

Today we held our Cultural Fashion Parade and Flag March, with students proudly representing 65+ countries from across our school community. The colours, flags and cultural outfits made for an amazing display of the diversity we have here at the college.

Tuesday

Students enjoyed a range of hands-on activities throughout the day, starting with the opportunity to experience henna, where many students lined up to have beautiful designs applied and learn more about this traditional art form.

The celebrations continued with a kite making and flying competition, where students worked together to design and build their own kites before heading outside to see whose creation could fly the highest. The activity brought plenty of excitement, creativity and friendly competition as colourful kites filled the sky.
