Term 1 Wrap Up

Year 7 Big Day Out
Our Year 7 students recently enjoyed an action-packed Big Day Out, filled with exciting activities and plenty of opportunities to challenge themselves.
Throughout the day, students took part in a range of activities including water activities, abseiling and rock climbing. These experiences encouraged students to step outside their comfort zones, work together and support one another.
For many students, the day was also about facing fears and giving something new a go. It was fantastic to see students showing courage as they tackled the climbing wall or leaned back for their first abseil, with plenty of encouragement from their peers and teachers.
The day was a great opportunity for students to build friendships, develop confidence and create lasting memories as they continue settling into life in Year 7.
Senior Summer Sports
Game on! ☀️🏏🏐🎾Our students headed out for Senior Summer Sports, competing in cricket, volleyball, tennis and table tennis. Plenty of great teamwork, friendly competition and school spirit on display!
Deb Ball #1
Our Debutante Ball Number 1 was last week, with 16 couples taking to the floor and showing off everything they’ve learned. A huge thank you to Amelia & Gerry Vecchio from InStyle Dancing for helping guide our students every step of the way, even those who started with two left feet! 💃🕺
We would also like to thank Graham Johnston Menswear in Kyabram for the suit hire, the GV Hotel Shepparton for hosting us, Bec from Blooming Buckets Flowers for the beautiful arrangements and of course the many amazing staff that work tirelessly behind the scenes. 🩵💜💛🩷
Australian Ballet
Twenty-seven of our students recently took part in an exciting dance program with the The Australian Ballet Education team.
Across six sessions held at the college, students worked with professional teaching artists, gaining valuable practical and educational dance experience. The workshops focused on technique, safe dance practice and performance skills, while guiding students through learning a choreographed dance piece.
The program end with a performance at Eastbank Centre, where students proudly showcased the work they had learned. As part of the program, students also watched a performance by members of The Australian Ballet. The piece shared a First Nations story, exploring connections to land, waterways and culture through movement and storytelling.
Having worked with The Australian Ballet before, it was fantastic to welcome the program back again this year and provide students with another valuable opportunity to learn from industry professionals and experience the power of dance.
