Gospel Reading
Matthew 9:36-10:8
Jesus sends the twelve apostles to proclaim the kingdom of heaven.
What message did Jesus ask the apostles to share?
What does it mean to be a follower of Jesus today?
In what ways are you called to be a disciple of Jesus in your school, family, and community?
Loving God,
We thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who gives Himself to us in the Eucharist.
As our students prepare to receive their First Holy Communion, fill their hearts with joy, peace, and wonder. Help them to understand how much You love them and how special it is to meet Jesus in the Eucharist.
May their families continue to support them with love and faith, and may our school community keep them in prayer as they prepare for this sacred celebration.
Jesus, Bread of Life, be with our students always. Guide them, strengthen them, and help them to share Your love with everyone they meet.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Before attending Mass, our Foundation students visited the Church to become familiar with the sacred space and its important features. This helped them understand the purpose of items such as the altar, tabernacle, and baptismal font, while developing reverence and respect. By exploring the Church beforehand, students feel more confident and engaged when participating in Mass.
Thank you Mrs Hawkins, Ms Nicky and Ms Zang.
