Play Based Learning- Turn Taking Focus

We have lots of fun. We can take turns with other people. We can wait until people are done. If we don't win we say "Maybe next time!" I like playing with my friends best when we do PBL. I like dominoes because there are 2 ways to play it. It's nice to take turns and if you don't take turns it can make people feel sad and disappointed and mad. When you do good turn taking people feel happy and helpful and kind.

Consonant-Vowel-Consonant Words

We make words with letters. We use iPads. We make words with a sun board and letters. We play bingo with words and pictures. We write on whiteboards. I can make a word like dad.

The Disco

Last week our students put their dancing shoes on for our whole school celebration and we had a disco! It was an afternoon of fun with musical games and we also making disco balls. Everyone got to show off their favourite dance moves, and the teachers were so proud of how respectful the students were. We can't wait for the next one!

VIS Athlete Visit

Yesterday, Zali told us about hockey. It looks like fun. - Henry

I found out she first liked to play a different sport like basketball and now she likes to play hockey. - Beau

I learned that if you're left-handed you have to learn how to do it with your right hand. It was quite weird but it was also fun. - Austin
