Let’s Journey Together in Hope – Pope Francis’ Message for Lent 2025

Lent is a special time when we prepare for Easter by growing closer to God.

Pope Francis invites us to reflect on three important ideas:

  1. We Are on a Journey - Life is like a journey, just like the people of Israel traveling to the Promised Land in the Bible. God calls us to keep moving forward, leaving behind bad habits and things that keep us away from Him. Lent is a great time to think about how we can change for the better.

  2. We Should Walk Together - As Christians, we are not meant to go through life alone. We should support and help each other, treating everyone with kindness and respect. We must work together in our families, schools, and communities so that no one feels left out.

  3. We Must Walk in Hope - Jesus’ resurrection gives us hope that God loves us and promises us eternal life. No matter how hard things may seem, we can trust that God is with us. Lent is a time to strengthen our faith and bring hope to others.

Pope Francis encourages us to reflect on these ideas, help those in need, and grow closer to God. Let’s walk this journey of Lent together with faith and love!
