The Year Sixes have just finished their Swimming Intensive at PARC and the Frankston Lifesaving Club. The children were given opportunities to work on their swimming skills in and around the pool. On Thursday the children were swimming in clothes and looking at survival skills in case they accidentally fell off a pier or a boat. On Friday we attended a lifesaving day at the Frankston LifeSaving Club. The children learnt about dangers at the beach, some basic first aid and some rescue techniques.

In Science we have been learning about Circuits and Light paths. Each grade has been rotating experiments around that show open and closed circuits, switches, using batteries to power a globe and a buzzer, light reflection, absorption and trying to create a self propelling boat.

Each class has been trying to create a Laser Game reflection puzzle. The object of this experiment is to reflect the light off multiple mirrors to hit a bullseye on their design box.
