The following students received Star Student Certificates at our Week 3 Assembly:.
Year 3
Ted Bufton for the excellent sportsmanship he showed during the Cross Country, encouraging every student by name as they passed, offering genuine support regardless of their House or age.
Year 5
Lucy Cameron for her quiet determination in all tasks, her kindness and understanding towards others and her positive attitude.
Shriaan Golwala for his application and interest in his work, particularly on challenging Maths problems and having a go at new things.
George Robertson for his hard work in spelling and mathematical problem solving, particularly in our recent multiplication and division unit.
Year 6
Mila McCabe for seamlessly settling into Year Six and being a wonderfully positive addition to our classroom community.
Ed MacDougall for his detailed research and writing in his informative report on how fainting impacts the brain.
The following students received Star Student certificates for giving their time to represent the College at the Hamilton ANZAC Day Service and Commemoration.

Pen Licences were award to Year 4 students Jack Nagorcka and Deani Burmeister.
A reminder to all mums that the Junior School Mother’s Day Afternoon is tomorrow. Afternoon tea will be served from 2.00 pm, with music provided by our students, followed by visits to classrooms and/or House Sports events at 2.30 pm. We look forward to celebrating with you.
All families will receive an email with the code to order photos after they are taken.
Sibling photos need to be registered ahead of the day. Myrniong photos will be taken on Monday. If you have children across the two campuses, Myrniong students will go to the Senior School for their sibling photo on Tuesday, 12 May.


Our move to a new LMS (Learning Management System) Toddle will see an altered format to Junior School Semester Reports, to be released later this term. Report templates are nearing completion, and we will look to have Semester One reports available to Junior School parents in Toddle in Week 8 of term. Parent/Teacher interviews will follow in Weeks 9 and 10. Continuous Reporting continues throughout Term Two.


A wonderful tradition at the Junior School is the awarding of Camp Brownlow medals. At the completion of the highly successful Year 5/6 camp at Port Fairy and the Outside Inn at the Wannon, students and staff cast their votes for the students in their classes who demonstrated the College values of compassion, gratitude, optimism, resilience, and respect throughout the three-day outdoor experience.
Worthy winners were George Robertson in Year 5 and Georgina Whale in Year 6.
Round 2 of the Hamilton Hockey Association competition saw the following results.
Under 10 College Knights went down 2-0 to Coleraine Maroon.
Under 13 College Chiefs were defeated 5-2 by Dunkeld.

Under 10 College Knights v Demons Red - 12.00pm at Pedrina Park.
Under 10 College Vikings v Coleraine Gold - 12.00pm at Pedrina Park.
Under 13 College Chiefs v College Warriors - 2.00pm at College.
A reminder there are no scheduled matches for juniors and seniors on the weekend of 16/17 May. Hamilton Hockey Association will be fielding representative Under 14, 16 and 18 teams in the JCC (Junior Country Week Championships) in Melbourne. College has strong representation in all teams.
College sent a strong team of athletes to Warrnambool for the WHP Division Athletics on Friday 1 May. All performed well, with the following students qualifying for the Regional Athletics in Ballarat later this year: Olive Monk, Violet Shrive, Milla McClure, Anika Nelson and Will Brown.
