National Walk Safely to School Day
Lace Up! Walk Safely to School Day is Coming!
Get ready to step out and enjoy the fresh air! On Friday 22 May our school will be participating in National Walk Safely to School Day.
This annual event encourages primary school children and their families to walk and commute safely to school. It’s a fantastic way to promote physical activity, reduce traffic congestion around our school gates, and teach our kids vital road safety skills.
You’re Invited
St Joseph’s staff will be walking to school Friday 22 May from the grass area near Bulli Beach Cafe. Teachers will assemble at the meeting point pictured below. Parents and students are warmly invited to walk to school with staff. Staff will leave the Bulli Beach Cafe grass area at 8:20am. Should your child require an epi pen or asthma puffer on the walk, please ensure they bring these with them whilst walking. As this is considered a school event, dogs should be left at home or walked 10m away from the children where possible.

Students will need to be in sports uniform on these days to participate in the gymnastic program and timetabled PE program with Mrs Mitchell.
