Book Week 2026

It's a Wrap!

Wow what a wonderful day we had on Tuesday celebrating book week. The annual parade did not disappoint and the children had a ball dressing as their favourite book characters and showing off their costumes. They then moved around the classrooms where they visited The Enchanted Wood, Wonka Land, The Land of Birthdays, met Cruella Deville and 101 Dalmatians. Many stories were read and activities done based on The Rainbow Fish, Bluey, Room on a Broom and The Wild Robot just to name a few.

I would like to thank the classroom teachers and staff who spent a lot of time preparing their rooms and activities to make this day a great success!

Guessing the number of bookworms in the jar also draws a lot of attention and the winner will be announced by Mr Shaw on Friday 28th August.

Book Week  at St Anne's ends tomorrow with the 1/2's going to the Seaford Library for a Book Week performance. We have been lucky enough to have attended this show in previous years and it is definitely a lot of fun.
