Principal’s Message – Latest Bronze and Silver GPA Awards

Today was a very special day at Trafalgar Primary School as we celebrated some outstanding student achievements. Our Bronze and Silver GPA Awards were presented to recognise students who have consistently demonstrated what it means to live our school values: Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be a Learner.

 

Each month, teachers complete GPA Progress Reports on every student’s effort and behaviour. Students who achieve a score of 3.8 or higher earn the title of GPA All Star! for the month. Reaching this standard once is a great accomplishment but today we honoured those who have done this not just once, but more than 30 times across their years at Trafalgar PS.

 

These students have now earned the Bronze GPA Award. Each recipient received:

  • A Bronze GPA Certificate
  • A Bronze badge to proudly wear on their uniform
  • A personal letter from me recognising their achievement

 

Once reaching the milestone of 40 GPA AllStar! awards students receive their Silver GPA.  

 

These awards are something to treasure. Students may one day use these awards to support applications for school leadership roles, special programs, scholarships, or even their first part-time jobs.

 

We are incredibly proud of our Award winners and the example they set for our school community. Congratulations to all of today’s recipients!
