Spreading Christmas Cheer

Cunningham Downs Visit
Last week, our friends at Cunningham Downs warmly welcomed back some of our Year 9 students - including members of our Amplify group who took part in indoor lawn bowls, and the design team who painted the mural earlier this year - for a special end-of-year catch-up.
Students and residents picked up right where they left off, sharing great food, meaningful conversations and plenty of laughter.
A heartfelt thank you to Bob and Beth Baker for organising such a lovely afternoon tea and for continuing to foster these meaningful connections between our students and the Cunningham Downs community.
Choir
On December 4, a group of 10 Choir students shared the spirit of the season with our wider community, visiting Wharparilla Lodge, Bupa and Shine Bright Kindergarten to perform Christmas carols.
The response was heart-warming - residents sang along, kindergarten children danced with delight, and smiles were shared all round. Our students also had a wonderful time, embracing a big day of travelling, setting up equipment and performing multiple times with enthusiasm and generosity.
All visits were a great success, and we were delighted to hear requests for a return visit before next Christmas!
Thank you to our students for spreading festive cheer and representing St Joseph’s College with such joy and compassion.
