Presentation Night
Last night’s Presentation Evening at Community Bank Stadium was a beautiful reflection of the heart and spirit of Plenty Valley Christian College. It was a God-honouring celebration of excellence, stewardship, community, and courageous learning.
Students were recognised for their achievements in both academics and sport, and honoured through the Character Awards for the way they contribute to the life of our College and walk in faith. It was particularly moving to see our graduating Year 12 and Year 6 students take to the stage, sharing highlights of their journeys and reflecting on their growth throughout their time at Plenty Valley.
The evening was beautifully accompanied by our incredibly talented students and music director, who blessed us with incredible performances filled with joy and heart. We also paused to honour Executive Principal Mr John Metcalfe, acknowledging his nine years of faithful leadership and the lasting impact he has made on our College family.
After the formalities, it was wonderful to see so many stay to enjoy a delicious supper, reconnect with friends, and capture memories with photos.
Thank you to every family, student, and staff member who joined us and supported this special event. Presentation Evening was a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate all that God is doing in the life of our college.
Primary Choir visit to Aged Care
The Primary Choir recently brought festive cheer to the residents of Estia Aged Care in South Morang with their annual concert—a much-anticipated highlight for the community. The residents were delighted to see the young singers perform a selection of beautiful songs and solo instrumental pieces, creating an atmosphere filled with warmth and joy.
Adding to the celebration, the choir members went above and beyond by crafting handmade Christmas decorations for the residents. These thoughtful touches showcased the students’ creativity and their commitment to making the day truly special.
This cherished tradition continues to strengthen the bond between generations, reminding us of the power of music and kindness to bring people together. Well done to our talented choir for sharing their voices and God’s love with the community!
