BPC
(Bernie's Parent Collective)

2025 was the year you danced, ate, cooked, walked, planted and sang your way to raise $15,540 for our school and charity. That deserves a round of applause!
None of this would have happened without you and without our wonderful Bernie’s Parent Collective (BPC) members and volunteers. What a fabulous lot they are! They work so hard behind the scenes to make every event perfect and make every student feel special. And they do it all without breaking a sweat!
Bernie’s Parent Collective is our version of a parents and friends committee. We run several events throughout the year, and anyone can get involved.
The kids enjoy all these events so much. They mean a lot to them. We will let you in on a little secret, the BPC crew have a ball getting involved too.
And wow, did everyone get involved! From getting our glow on at the school disco and our hands dirty in the fabulous school garden, to cooking up a storm at the Bunnings BBQ to taking the road less travelled in the walkathon, you were there.
From the Mother’s Day stall (loved the soap!) to the Father’s Day stall (mug anyone?) and everything in between, our school came together to ensure no one missed out.
The parents of BPC have given the funds raised to Ms Di Noto to buy the absolute best in literacy programs and resources for our kids. And we bought new turf for the junior playground and new games. Watch this space, as the school will install the games over the holidays ready for the 2026 school year.
Play your part
We will release our calendar of fun events in the new year. And all ideas for new events are welcome.
And we will be looking for new parents from every grade from Foundation to Grade 6 to join in the BPC fun next year. Watch out for the first issue of Bernardo in 2026 for the sign-up sheet and schedule of meetings. If you want to find out more email bpc@stbernardscoburg.catholic.edu.au.
Thanks to Sarah, Clare, everyone on the BPC and all the volunteers. We couldn’t have done it without you!
