CHANGE TO THE SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION

Attention Year 6 families: PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE OF TIME AND LOCATION OF OUR CONFIRMATION CELEBRATION IN AUGUST.

2025 Sacrament of Confirmation: Sunday 24th of August, 1.30pm @ Kolbe College

WELCOME BACK

As the new term begins, we look forward to bringing our best each day. A Reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew:

You are the light for the whole world. A city built on top of a hill cannot be hidden, and no one lights a lamp and puts it under a clay pot. Instead, it is placed on a lampstand, where it can give light to everyone in the house. Make your light shine, so others will see the good you do and will praise your Father in heaven.

May God bless us all and keep us ready to achieve great things!

Christ our light,

your love burns in our hearts

and builds in us a thirst for justice.

Jesus, light of the world,

you taught us how to reach out to others,

open our ears

to the stories that beg to be heard.

You who are light and warmth,

banish the darkness

and bring us hope.

Jesus, light of life,

enfold us all with your love

and incline our hearts

to the leading of your healing spirit.

2025 SACRAMENTS

Our Year 6 students are now in the final preparation phases of the Sacrament of Confirmation. Please notes the following dates for families who are apart of this Sacrament in August.

Student Retreat Day: Tuesday 12th August
Family Faith Night: Thursday 14th August @ 7pm
Sign up & Presentation Weekend: 9th or 10th of August 2025 - Attend any of the Parish Masses.
Sacrament Mass: Sunday 24th August @ Kolbe College 1.30pm

Outside of this preparation, the 2025 Sacramental registration is now closed. Thank you to our families who have taken this journey with us through the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Holy Eucharist and Confirmation.

We look forward to beginning this process with you again in 2026.
