Holy Week...

This marks the beginning of the most important week in our Church's calendar, Holy Week. Holy Week is a time to walk with Jesus in his final days before the cross.

This Sunday we celebrate Palm Sunday.

On Holy Thursday we remember Jesus' last supper where he gave us the gift of the Eucharist. Jesus washes his disciple's feet teaching us to care for others and love one another.

Good Friday is the most solemn day of the Church year. We reflect on Jesus's suffering  and see the real meaning of love.

Easter Sunday Jesus Christ is risen. This day is described as the pinnacle of our Church's year where we celebrate new beginnings and eternal life.

Please ask your children over the next week about the things they are learning about Holy Week.
