Principal's Message

Dear parents, students and families,
Well done to all our Year 3 and 5 students who have completed their NAPLAN assessments and to Mr Sullivan and staff for leading this and supporting the students.
Some of our Year 6 students attended the St Patrick's Day Celebration at St Patrick's Cathedral on Friday 20th March and I am very sure they found this a wonderful experience being part of our Archdiocese as a whole. Thank you to Mrs Winduss and Ms Marks for leading and supporting the students with this.
Our yearly disco was held last Friday and the children told me they had a lot of fun. Thank you to the parents involved in leading and supporting this event and to Mrs McKenzie and Mrs Brooking for their support of it.
Our Fire Carriers attended the Fire Carriers Commissioning Ceremony on Wednesday with our new Fire Carrier Leader Mrs Briggs. Our Marine Ambassadors were out today with Mr Sullivan.
It is looking like our final School Tour for Foundation 2027 will be held on Monday 30th March. With just under 70 families, either as siblings of current students or as expressions of interest in joining our school, we have certainly become known as an excellent school in our area, whether families are Catholic or not.
Next week ends with our students leading their Stations of the Cross on Holy Thursday, which is the final day of Term 1. I am sure your own personal Lenten journeys have been beneficial for you and wish you all well before we move into Eastertime.
Please keep in your prayers our students currently attending Mass to support their enrolment for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist.
God Bless and have a great last week of Term 1.
