Student Report

Hello Tarneit Senior College,

As we finish Term 1 and headed into the holidays, we’ve had many exciting things to look back on!

This term students have been dedicating study sessions for their upcoming SAC’s, CAT’s and assignments. Being the first term of the year, it's been quite a workload to get back into and used to. Continue the hard effort and remember it will be worth it especially with the holidays coming near, push a little more towards having a well rested holiday free of extra work.

Athletics this year was a big hit with everyone engaging and dressing up in fabulous costumes, we had athletic students in their competitive zones as well as those who had an attempt out of participation. Congratulations to all winners and participants!

In February, the Senior and Intermediate Volleyball teams represented Tarneit Senior College in the western metropolitan Volleyball competition where they competed against local schools. After dedicated training sessions during breaks and after schools, the senior Girls and Boys both came in a well deserved position. All Senior and Intermediate teams showed sportsmanship and determination, great work guys!

On the 5th of March, the year 12 VM classes had attended the F1 season opener where they had the opportunity to attend the Albert Park Circuit and observe the Formula 2 & 3 practices as well as supercars. We hope it was an enjoyable experience.

We would like to wish everyone who observed Ramadan - Eid Mubarak! With the month of fasting not only for Ramadan but also Lent has been difficult for all participants, with early starts to the day to long hours before dinner, and the changes of dietary and activities for Lent - it has been a lot to consider. We hope everyone gets a well rested Eid and the best of blessings for those continuing Lent!

Enjoy a wonderful, well-deserved break! We can't wait to welcome you back for an exciting Term 2, fully recharged!

Warm Regards,
