P & C News

It’s been a wonderfully busy few weeks for our P&C, and we’re excited to share what we’ve been up to as a school community!

Easter Raffle

The P&C would like to thank the ongoing support of all the incredible suppliers who have once again been so generous in donating the prizes for this year's Easter Raffle. Their commitment to supporting the local community is always greatly appreciated by our school. They really helped put smiles on the lucky winners' faces!

Special thanks to:

* The Market Run

* Ausrealty

* Conca D'Oro

* Galluzzo's Pharmacy

* Ray White

* Woolworths

The raffle was a huge success. The students were buzzing with excitement, and the P&C bunny committee had just as much fun! A very special thank goes to Hayaat C and Moussa C, who organised and collected donations, chased down last-minute items, and turned it all into beautifully organised hampers, year after year. Their hard work makes the Easter raffle run smoothly, look amazing, and bring so much joy to our school community year after year.

Mother’s Day Stall

Yesterday we held our annual Mother’s Day Stall. A big thank you to our Mother’s Day Sub‑Committee who worked their magic behind the scenes and selected such lovely gifts this year. Our stall volunteers had a fantastic time with music, food, a bit of dancing and lots of laughs.

Our dream team consisted of:

Stall MC - They opened the show, explained the rules, and keep the crowd calm while the excitement built.

Gift Guides & Sales Superstars — The friendly faces at the tables explained and demonstrated gifts while answering extremely important questions like “Would my mum like a mug if she already has two?”

Cashiers — The fearless crew handling coins, notes and crumpled zip‑lock bags of mystery money.

Bagging & Name‑Writing Champions — The speedy scribblers who wrote names on bags, packed them beautifully, and kept everything running smoother than a supermarket checkout.

Floating Personal Shoppers — The undercover gift consultants who drifted between tables, offered moral support and helped weigh up crucial decisions like “pink or purple?”

DJ’s — They selected the playlists that kept the vibes upbeat, to match the energy of all the excited faces approaching the tables.

The children were all so proud of their gift choices. We hope all the mothers, grandmothers, mother figures and carers absolutely love their gifts.

From all our volunteers and committee members, we want to wish you a very happy Mother's Day!

*Spoiler alert - Photos contain sneak peeks of Mother's Day gifts. Close your eyes if you want to be surprised!

Looking Ahead

We really want to bring more amazing events to our school community throughout the year. Behind every event is a team of volunteers who made it possible. If you’ve ever thought about volunteering at an event — even just occasionally — we would absolutely love to have you join us. Every extra pair of hands makes a difference.

We also welcome new members to join the P&C Committee. Whether you come with big ideas, little ideas or just want to be part of the fun!

The next P&C Meeting will be held on Monday, 18th May 2026 at 7pm in the Gumbuya Centre and also online via Zoom. The Zoom link will be published on the Sentral Parent Portal closer to the date. All parents and carers are warmly invited and welcome to attend.
