Principal's message

Thank You P&C
Our P&C has had an incredibly busy and rewarding end to Term 1 and a lively start to Term 2, hosting two wonderful fundraising events: the Easter Raffle and the Mother’s Day Stall. Both events were met with fantastic enthusiasm and generous support from our school community, truly highlighting the spirit and togetherness that make our school so special.
I extend a heartfelt thank you to all the parents and carers whose dedication and hard work, whether behind the scenes, volunteering on the day or both, played a vital role in making these events a resounding success. Your commitment not only helps raise important funds but also strengthens the sense of community and connection within our school.
Together, we continue to create a positive and vibrant environment for our students, and we look forward to many more opportunities to come together throughout the year.

Phone Lines
Since returning from the holidays, we have been experiencing intermittent difficulties with our phone lines, including crackling and call dropouts. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and want to assure you that we are actively working with NEC and Telstra to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time.
Concerns or Issues
At our school, the safety and wellbeing of every student is our highest priority. We kindly remind all parents and caregivers that if you have any concerns or issues related to your child or their experience at school, please report these directly to your child’s classroom teacher or contact the school office.
For the safety and comfort of all students, we ask that adults do not approach or speak to other children in the playground or during school hours. Our school environment must remain a safe, respectful, and supportive space where all students feel secure.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a positive and safe learning environment for everyone.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher or the office.
Football Trading Cards
With the NRL season in full swing, we’ve noticed many students are excitedly bringing Football Trading Cards to school. To help maintain a focused and positive learning environment, we kindly ask that Football Trading Cards remain outside the classroom during learning time.
If bringing these cards begins to affect learning or causes any conflicts among students, we will need to reach out to parents or carers to collect the cards and request that they stay at home moving forward.
Please be advised that the school cannot assume responsibility for personal belongings brought from home. Therefore, we strongly recommend that valuable or particularly special items remain at home where they can be kept safe. During learning time, staff will kindly remind students to store such items securely in their bags.
Thank you for your understanding and support in keeping our classrooms productive and enjoyable for all students.
Attendance Matters
Education in New South Wales is compulsory for all children between the ages of six years and below the minimum school leaving age of 17 years. The Education Act 1990 requires that parents ensure their children of compulsory school age are enrolled at, and regularly attend school, or are registered with the NSW Education and Standards Authority for home schooling. Once enrolled, children are required to attend school each day it is open for students.
If your child's attendance in dropping below 90% the classroom teacher will reach out to discuss the challenges of coming to school.
If your child's attendance drops below 85% the school involves the Home School Liaison Officer, and supportive Attendance Improvement Plans are co-developed with the parent/carer, classroom teacher and student to improve the attendance.
Further information for parents and carers about school attendance can be accessed through the DoE Website - Compulsory school attendance
Happy Mother's Day!
This Sunday, we celebrate all the amazing mothers and special women in our school community who nurture, guide, and inspire our students every day. Whether you are a mum, carer, grandmother, aunt, or a family friend, your love and support help shape the lives of the children in our care.
Thank you for everything that you do, from the big moments to the little acts of kindness.
We wish all the special women in our lives a wonderful Mother’s Day, filled with joy and appreciation!
