Playgroup
As we come to the end of a very busy term of Playgroup, we’re very grateful for all the joy and energy our little ones have brought each week. We’ve played, made new friends, read stories, prayed together, explored fun craft activities, and even celebrated the end of winter with a Frozen party!
If you have a child starting Kindy next year, little ones at home who love to be entertained, or if you know families outside our school community with children aged 0–5 who may be considering joining a playgroup, you are all very warmly welcome to come along next term. Playgroup is a beautiful way for children to learn, connect, and grow and for parents, grandparents and carers to meet others in a friendly, supportive space.

Formed - Netflix For Catholics!
Our parish has very kindly offered all school families free access to an amazing digital resource called FORMED. It's a beautifully curated hub of Catholic shows, movies, talks, and children’s programs. Think of it as “Catholic Netflix” for your home.
FORMED is a trusted guide to the Faith, supporting you and your family with an immersive, easy‑to‑use experience. New content is added daily, including a huge library designed especially for kids. It's perfect for quiet afternoons, family faith time, or those moments when little ones need something meaningful to watch.
It’s also a wonderful resource for adult faith formation, offering inspiring talks, series, and reflections to help deepen your own understanding of the Catholic faith at your own pace.
You can install the app on your smart TV, tablet, or phone and enjoy everything at no cost under our parish subscription (normally $15/month).
Getting started is simple: Just head to signup.formed.org. Use your own email address to create an account, and when prompted, enter our parish postcode 2232 to sign up under our parish subscription.
HSC Packs
A heartfelt thank you to every family who wrote a postcard for the Year 12 students at St Patrick’s College as they begin their HSC exam period. Your words of encouragement were deeply appreciated.
Last Friday, our School Captains, Jack and Eryn, along with Georgia, one of our senior student leaders, joined me, our Family Educators, and student leaders from St Joseph’s Como and St Catherine Labouré Gymea at the Year 12 Graduation Assembly rehearsal. Together, we handed the postcards to the College House Captains so they could be shared with the students.
This is an especially stressful time for Year 12 and their families, and the kindness shown by our community made a meaningful difference. Please keep all Year 12 students in your prayers over the coming weeks as they complete their exams.
