Gardening and cook-ups in the holidays...

The Fair is our school's major fundraiser for our award-winning Kitchen and Garden Program. Entirely funded through school fundraising, this unique program sets Surfside Primary apart in our region and provides students with invaluable hands-on cooking and gardening experiences.

There are many ways to get involved before and during the Fair. In the lead-up, we'll be looking for helping hands in the Kitchen and Garden to bake, prepare produce, weed, preserve, and get everything ready. If you can spare just an hour or two in the kitchen or garden, your time will make a real difference.

The school holiday cook-up session dates are:

• Monday 21st September, 9-2pm - preserves and gardening
• Monday 28th September, 8-2pm - sausage rolls and gardening

Term 4 dates are:

• Lemonade preparations with J10, 11:30-1:30pm – Thurs 8 & 15 October
• Tuesday 20th October, 8:45-3:15pm
• Thursday 22nd October, 8:45-3:15pm
• Saturday 24th October, 9-10:30am, working bee morning
• Tuesday 27th October, 8:45-3:15pm
• Wednesday 28th October, 8:45-3:15pm
• Monday 2nd November, 8:45-3:15pm
• Tuesday 3rd November, 8:45-3:15pm
• Wednesday 4th November, 11-3:15pm
• Thursday 5th November, 8:45-3:15pm
• Friday 6th November, 8:45-3:15pm, Fresh Food Fair Day!

• Monday 9th November, 8:45-11am, Kitchen clean up
