Positive Behaviour for Learning PBL

Students have been learning and practicing all our values and expectations each fortnight and showing growth in their positive displays of behaviour and interactions with one another.

As a school, our priority is to create an environment which is safe for all students, staff and visitors. We show that we are being safe in many different ways:

  • moving around the school sensibly
  • using resources and equipment with responsibility
  • responding to instructions from adults
  • allowing everyone to access the learning by being respectful
  • playing safely
  • seeking help when needed

It is important that all students display our PBL values of safe, respect and responsibility to ensure that St Mary's is the best school to be at!

A new initiate to support individual acknowledgment is the introduction of our PBL raffle.

As well as students gaining 10 house points when they complete their token chart, they will also receive a raffle ticket to go into the draw for an end of term treat with Mrs Black!

Only 8 students will be drawn, so you have to be in it to win it. The more completed token charts, the more raffle tickets!

🔴House Team Award! 🔴

Students AND Staff of MacKillop House enjoyed their hot chip lunch on Friday week 1 due to their extraordinary effort with the Mighty Mary points in Term 2. Students are acknowledged with tokens for their positive behaviours, attention to learning, kindness, sportsmanship and for displaying the St Mary's Values.

Let's see who will win this term's collective prize!
