Beginning of School Year Mass
Next Tuesday, 10th of February at 9:15am we will gather as a school community to celebrate our Beginning of the School Year Mass. This Mass is an important opportunity for us to come together in faith, give thanks for the year ahead, and ask for God’s guidance and blessing on our students, staff and families.
The Mass is at the heart of our Catholic life. It reminds us that we are not just a school, but a faith community, called to live out the values of love, service and compassion in our daily lives. By beginning the year together in prayer, we centre ourselves on Christ and set a strong foundation for the months ahead.
Families are warmly invited to join us for this special celebration. During the Mass, we will also bless our student leaders and present them with their leadership badges, acknowledging the responsibility they have accepted and praying that they lead with integrity, kindness and courage.
We look forward to sharing this meaningful celebration with you as we begin the school year together.
Sacramental Program
Our Sacramental Program this year invites families to make a meaningful commitment to supporting their child as they prepare to receive a Sacrament. This commitment includes completing the home program, attending a family information night, and participating in the celebration of the Sacrament itself.
A note will be sent home with students who will be receiving a Sacrament this year, outlining further details and expectations. Proposed dates for each Sacrament are listed below.
Sacrament of Eucharist (Year 4) Sunday 3 May at 10:00 am (Sunday Parish Mass)
Sacrament of Confirmation (Year 6) Thursday 20 August at 6:00 pm
Sacrament of Reconciliation (Year 3) Thursday 20 October at 2:30 pm
