Grade 3/4 News

Swimming has begun and most of the students have been excitedly participating in the program. Those students who are not participating have been learning about water safety in a variety of environments in class and will be completing a water safety poster to teach others how to be safe.   

Reading assessments have started in each grade. Students will be assessed on their fluency and comprehension. In Writing, the focus is on publishing a final persuasive about rules or laws in Australia.

The last two weeks in Mathematics is all about mapping and location. Students will be learning how to interpret maps using coordinates and using precise language to give directions. 

The chairs went on strike in 3/4F. The students had to write a persuasive to end the strike!
